A Future. Not A Past. conducts several types of Child Sex Trafficking (also known as Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children CSEC) training.  All training classes are free of cost and can be scheduled to accommodate the needs of your organization. 

Law Enforcement Training: Topics include: Legal Overview, Context and Scope of the Problem, Investigations, and Understanding Victims, and Victim Services. Two hour class, two hours POST credits. 

Intended Audience: Beat officers, SROs, Detectives, Investigators 

Prosecutor Training: Topics include: Context and Scope of the Problem, Understanding and Identifying the Victims, Prosecuting the Offenders (The Law, The Investigation, The Trial), and Bringing a Victim Centered Case. Two hour class, 2 hours CLE credits. 

Intended Audience: District Attorneys, ADA’s, Victim Advocates, Judges, General Attorneys 

Mandatory Reporter Training: Topics include: History of CSEC & Human Trafficking in the U.S., Victims Understanding & Identification, CSEC in Georgia, Mandatory Reporters and the Law, and CSEC Services in Georgia. 

Intended Audience: Teachers, Social Workers, School Nurses, School Guidance Councilors 

Train-the-Trainer (Law Enforcement): The passage of HB200 requires law enforcement agencies to have procedures in place to handle child sex trafficking cases. This class prepares training professionals to conduct CSEC training. Trainees will receive all materials necessary to conduct training, including a binder containing all reproducible materials, CD with soft copies of handouts, and DVD with video clips. Four hour class, 4 hours POST credits. 

Intended Audience: Law Enforcement Training Managers, Supervisors, Training Center Staff 

Community Ambassador Training: Our Community Ambassador Trainings take place quarterly and are designed to educate and involve community members in our on-going battle to stop CSEC. We look at the larger picture of CSEC, involving the supply of our children and demand by the perpetrators, and teach our ambassadors how to use their voice to stand up against child sex trafficking.
