Mark your calendars for Camp Hope 2012!

The 13th annual summer camp will be held July 14-20 at the Rock Eagle 4-H Campground in Eatonton, Georgia. A program of kidz2leaders, inc., Camp Hope is a one-week summer camp for prisoners’ children in metro-Atlanta. We need college students and adults who are willing to share the love of Christ with these children and serve as counselors for the week.

This is a great local mission for both families and individuals.

Current volunteer opportunities:

• Camp Counselors:  Adult, teens and college students to serve as camp counselors for the entire week (July 14-20 - Saturday-Friday)

• Day Volunteers:  
• Day volunteers are needed at Mt. Bethel UMC to help with camper check-in on Sunday, July 15th and camper check-out on Friday, July 20th.
• Day volunteers needed at Camp Hope to serve as "gophers" from Saturday through Thursday
• Transportation:  Volunteers are needed to help provide transportation to campers who need a ride to Mt. Bethel UMC on Sunday, July 15 or need a ride home from Mt. Bethel UMC on Friday, July 20th.

In-Kind Donation Needs:

• Individually-wrapped snacks (no chocolate or anything perishable)
• Bottled water
• Wal-Mart gift cards
• Clothing for children, teens and adults (shorts and shirts in various sizes - no tank tops, short-shorts or lots of logos or brand names.)
• Girls and ladies swimsuits (one piece only)

Donations can be delivered to the Camp Hope office, located on the campus of Mt. Bethel UMC at 4385 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068, Monday - Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm.
