Ferrell Brown Named Executive Director of Street Grace Florida

November 2024—Street Grace, a faith-based organization with a mission to end Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) throughout the United States, has named Ferrell Brown executive director for their Florida-based presence, which launched in 2024. In this role, Brown will oversee development and daily operations, while deepening advocacy efforts for the non-profit, which mobilizes community involvement to fight CSEC and drive awareness through training, providing resources and education, particularly about the reduction in demand. An experienced, multifaceted leader, Brown brings extensive experience in both nonprofit and business leadership.

“We will never end CSEC and sex trafficking without intentionally, forcefully and strategically addressing demand,” said Bob Rodgers, CEO of Street Grace, noting the underground sex economy is a multi-billion-dollar illegal business in the U.S. It is the fastest-growing and second-largest illegal business on the planet. “Our initiatives are intensely focused on prevention and the protection of all those who are vulnerable, as well as the pursuit of buyers with a focus on eliminating demand by removing the cloak of anonymity.”

“We are thrilled to have Ferrell leading our Florida efforts and look forward to the passion and expertise he brings to foster real change in how Florida combats human trafficking,” said Street Grace CEO Bob Rodgers. “We have been thrilled by the expansion of our Florida outreach since we launched efforts here in 2024, and we look forward to the continued growth of our important programs and initiatives to end the sexual exploitation of children.”

Prior to joining Street Grace, Brown led a department tasked with funding millions of dollars in projects in collaboration with nonprofit partners. Through this role, he developed a deep passion and burden for addressing the critical issue of human trafficking in our society. His achievements span international ministry projects—building orphanages, organizing large-scale gatherings, and establishing service and medical facilities for underserved communities—as well as leading successful business ventures. He has also served as a pastor in multiple U.S. churches, fostering and supporting diverse communities.

Street Grace is a faith-based organization that utilizes evidence-based demand reduction strategies to eradicate the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) through prevention, protection, policy, and pursuit. CSEC is sexual activity with a child in exchange for something of value given to the child or a third person.
